KALC Community Award 2022

Kent Association of Local Councils annually give local councils the opportunity to recognise someone who they believe has contributed to community life.

At the last Parish Council meeting Brian Taylor was presented with the KALC Award for 2022.

I have known Brian Taylor for many years as a neighbour, electrician and a caravaner.

Brian has been involved in charity work over many years and, since becoming a Village Hall Committee member, has committed a lot of his time and expertise maintaining the Village Hall and without volunteers such as Brian, we would not have this valuable village asset. Brian was also responsible, along with other members of village organisations, in bringing the Queen’s Platinum  Jubilee celebrations to Addington.
