East Street Footbridge

Councillors walking across the East Street footbridge

The Parish Council is delighted to see that the replacement footbridge at East Street is now in place.

Several Councillors met with the contractors on Monday 14 December and were one of the first to walk the replacement bridge.  The contractors are hoping to open the bridge to the public in time for the Christmas break so that walkers can now get to the other side of the bridge.

The contractors will be on site until the end of January and will be reinstating the village green and other planting is to take place to shield the bridge.
