Kent Community Speedwatch

Kent Community SpeedwatchThe Parish Council organise regular speedwatch events in the village having invested in the equipment which we share with 2 other parishes.

Community Speedwatch (CSW) is a national initiative where active members of local communities join with the support of the Police to monitor speeds of vehicles using speed detection devices.

Vehicles exceeding the speed limit are referred to the Police with the aim of educating drivers to reduce their speeds.

We need your help! We have been running speedwatch for four years but have reached a stage where if it is to continue and be viable we need more volunteers. If you would be interested in learning more about the scheme and becoming a volunteer please contact the Clerk: addington.parish@btinternet.com.
