Red Cross Defibrillator Training Event

Defibrillator Training Event 5th July Addington village Hall

Three defibrillators are available in Addington in these locations:
• London Road, next to the Jet Garage, ME19 5A
• Addington Village Green, next to bus stop, ME19 5BB
• Addington Village Hall, doorway entrance, ME19 5BQ

All defibrillators are checked to be working on a regular basis and registered with emergency services.

EVERY SECOND COUNTS Cardiac arrest occurs when a person’s heart stops pumping blood around the body and they stop breathing normally. Early defibrillation can save a life, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation is essential for survival before emergency services arrive on the scene.

A representative from British Red Cross will be demonstrating the equipment and giving advice on how to use them along with some basic First Aid advice.

The event is Free; Addington Parish Council has organised an awareness event on how to use a defibrillator.
