Local plan map

Tonbridge and Malling’s New Local Plan will shape the community until 2040.

The Local Plan is key as it identifies how T&MBC can provide affordable homes, safeguard green spaces and deliver local jobs in our towns and villages. A number of sites have been put forward as part of the ‘call for sites’ stage which included some in Trottiscliffe and Addington.

We organised a public meeting on the 1 November 2022 which was well attended. Matt Boughton, the Leader at T&MBC presented the consultation. Your Parish Council has commented on these sites as part of the Regulation 18 consultation which took place in October. Our comments can be found in the minutes of the October meeting (pdf) on our website.

We await details of the next steps and will share this information with you.
