The Parish Council appointed a Tree Warden earlier this year. The Tree Warden has assisted the Parish Council in a recent inspection of some of the trees in the village. The Parish Council is arranging some remedial works to trees on land it owns and has notified Kent County Council of concerns about some of the trees on their land. KCC also inspect all the trees on the A20 each year.

The annual RoSPA inspection of the children’s play areas has also taken place. In addition, volunteers on the Recreation Ground Committee kindly inspect the playground equipment on a regular basis.
