Temporary Road Closure: Ford Lane, Trottiscliffe – 16th February 2020

Notice from Kent County Council

To allow works to be carried out to transfer pole equipment, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ford Lane, Trottiscliffe.

A closure is planned from 16th February 2020 for up to 1 day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC005KL1W000000054857DNO – BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage on site and the works will be displayed on one.network

Ford Lane will be closed between the junctions with Wrotham Water Road and Addington Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while equipment transfer works are undertaken by BT.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe Road, A20 London Road, Ford Lane and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
